Have you experienced the death of a loved one...someone so close you didn't think you'd survive it? Sorry, times a ticking...you have five days to cowboy or girl up and return to work and be fully functional. Mourning must be done on your own time - stay focused.

Alicia Morin, long-time SLO county resident and Donor Relations Manager for a regional non-profit organization, will address the issues she faced at work after the unexpected death of her husband. Her experience led her to research grief in the workplace: what is commonly done at work, and what has proven to be most effective for all parties involved. This interactive program will discuss what should be expected by the employee; What can and should the company expect? How can the managers and co-workers offer support?

Menu: Chicken Florentine or Tortellini with Alfredo sauce; coconut cream pie
